Jordan and Alexander's love story began in their hometown of Katy, Texas. Though they both attended Katy High School (Jordan graduating in 2012 and Alex in 2013), their paths didn't cross until the summer of 2018. They met at the school’s strength and conditioning camp—Jordan was already teaching and coaching volleyball, while Alex was preparing for his math certification exam to join the teaching community. As fate would have it, Jordan had passed the same exam the year before, and the coaches suggested she help Alex study. What started as a simple study session quickly blossomed into a relationship leading to a beautiful life together. Five years later, on Easter weekend in 2023, Alex proposed to Jordan in the sweetest and simplest way. With her parents nearby, just before settling in to watch a movie, Alex asked the big question, and Jordan said yes. The laid-back and intimate proposal fit their personalities perfectly. Jordan and Alex’s wedding embraced a soft and romantic spring garden theme with a color palette of dusty blue and various pastel hues. The colors were reflected throughout the ceremony and reception, enhancing the fresh, whimsical vibe. The wedding day was filled with love, laughter, and special moments. One standout memory for the couple was the Grand March , a lively dance that got all their guests involved. It was a fun and interactive way to kick off the reception, with many guests participating for the first time. The couple's favorite detail? The beautiful florals and colorful candles that added a whimsical garden touch to their day. Flowers weren’t just placed on the tables but were incorporated into napkin folds, the ceremony backdrop, the champagne tower, and even the cake. These little touches truly made the venue feel like a spring garden come to life. After the ceremony, Jordan and Alex took a few quiet moments to themselves in the bridal suite while their guests enjoyed cocktail hour. This private time allowed them to soak in the joy of the day before joining the celebration. Jordan and Alex added several personal, DIY elements to their wedding, making the day feel even more special: - Jordan’s parents created the welcome sign and a fun pretzel-hanging bar , which became a hit during the reception. - Instead of traditional wedding favors, they offered their guests late-night snacks, including Auntie Anne’s Pretzels and popsicles from Three Sweet Pops . -Individual flowers were placed in each napkin fold , adding a delicate and thoughtful touch to the tables. -Their choice to have a champagne tower enhanced by florals was another unique and beautiful detail that tied in perfectly with their spring garden theme.

Not only did it serve as a convenient middle ground for both families, but the venue itself checked every box. From the breathtaking chapel to the fun courtyard with an inside/outside bar, and the spacious reception hall with large windows overlooking the serene property, they knew this was the place where they wanted to start their lives together. Jordan loved the secluded country feel of the venue, with its open land, ponds, and even cows that created a peaceful atmosphere. The bridal suite and groom’s room provided plenty of space for the couple and their wedding parties to relax and get ready. The groom and groomsmen even took advantage of the property’s pond for a bit of fishing before the ceremony! The natural light that poured into the white chapel and the stunning reception hall windows created the perfect backdrop for a beautiful spring wedding.
